Everything you need to know about the FQB platform — franchise management software for franchisors, consultants, and franchisees across Canada.

About the Platform

What is Franquicia Boost?

Franquicia Boost (FQB) is a franchise operating system that connects franchisors, franchise consultants, and franchisees on one platform. It handles the full franchise lifecycle — from candidate discovery and financial pre-qualification through to compliance tracking, network management, and royalty settlement.

Who is FQB built for?

FQB serves three main users: franchisors growing and managing their networks, franchise consultants screening and placing candidates, and franchisees exploring and applying for opportunities. Each role has its own workspace and feature set.

Is FQB only for Canadian franchises?

FQB is built and priced for the Canadian market. All pricing is in CAD. The platform supports franchisors and consultants operating across Canada, with territory intelligence built on Canadian geographic data sources.

For Franchisees

Is it really free for franchisees?

Yes. Franchisee accounts are always free — no credit card, no trial period, no hidden fees. Franchisees access the platform to browse verified opportunities, complete a financial compatibility assessment, go through pre-qualification, and manage their application from start to finish.

How does the franchisee application process work?

You create a profile, complete a compatibility assessment based on your investment range, territory preference, and goals, then go through financial pre-qualification via a secure cross-bank process. Once pre-qualified, you are matched to relevant opportunities and guided through a structured application workflow — directly connected to the franchisor’s development team.

What is financial pre-qualification?

Financial pre-qualification verifies your investment capacity through a secure, cross-bank process — without requiring you to share banking credentials directly with a franchisor. It produces a verified financial profile that franchisors can trust and speeds up the application review.

Can I apply to multiple franchises at once?

Yes. Your profile and pre-qualification report can be used across multiple applications. Each franchisor’s development team sees only what is relevant to their process.

For Franchisors

What does FQB do for franchisors?

FQB gives franchisors a verified, structured candidate development pipeline — from first inquiry through signed agreement. It includes cross-bank financial pre-qualification, compliance tracking, territory planning, AI trained on your franchise documentation, and access to a partner marketplace for legal, accounting, and lending support at preferred rates.

Can FQB manage my entire franchise network?

Yes. FQB supports multi-location franchise network management. Each location in your network can be linked as a sub-account in the platform hierarchy, with its own operational workspace. Your HQ account has visibility across the full network.

Does FQB support franchise disclosure documents (FDDs)?

AI on Grow and Scale plans is trained to understand your franchise system documentation, including FDDs. It can assist with document-related candidate questions and process guidance. FDD legal review and drafting remain the responsibility of your legal counsel.

How does royalty management work?

Franchise royalty management and financial settlement are Scale-plan features. They cover payment reconciliation, escrow settlement for franchise fees, and royalty tracking across your network. Configuration is completed during onboarding based on your network structure.

For Franchise Consultants

How does FQB support franchise consultants?

Franchise consultants use FQB to screen and place candidates. The platform includes Level-1 candidate screening reports on all plans, a verified candidate pipeline with financial pre-qualification, and commission tracking and settlement with franchisor networks on the Scale plan. It replaces manual spreadsheet-based tracking with a structured, auditable process.

What is a Level-1 candidate screening report?

A Level-1 report summarizes a franchisee candidate’s financial compatibility, territory preferences, and application readiness. It is produced automatically from the candidate’s platform profile and pre-qualification data, and is included for consultants on all plans.

Can I manage multiple franchisor relationships from one account?

Yes. Consultants manage all their franchisor relationships and candidate pipelines from a single account. Commission tracking on the Scale plan covers multiple franchisor relationships simultaneously.

Pricing & Billing

How much does franchise management software cost?

FQB plans start at $399 CAD/month for a 3-month introductory period, then $649 CAD/month billed annually (Grow) or $799 CAD/month month-to-month (Operate). The Scale plan is custom. Franchisee access is always free.

What is the difference between Operate and Grow?

Operate and Grow include exactly the same features. The only difference is billing: Operate is month-to-month at $799 CAD/month. Grow is billed annually at $649 CAD/month — saving $1,800 per year.

Is there a free trial?

There is no free trial, but all plans include a 3-month introductory period at $399 CAD/month with full access to your chosen plan and no feature restrictions.

Is pricing in CAD?

Yes. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Franchise Network Locations

How does pricing work for franchise locations in my network?

Your HQ account pays the full plan rate. Each franchise location you link to your HQ in the platform’s network hierarchy is billed separately at 55% of your plan rate — $360/month on Operate or $292/month on Grow. Adding locations does not change your HQ billing.

What is a franchise network location?

A franchise network location is a sub-account linked to your HQ in the platform hierarchy. It represents an individual franchise location — a physical outlet, territory, or operating unit — within your broader franchise network, with its own operational workspace.

How many locations can I add?

There is no hard cap on the number of network locations. Scale plan customers with large networks can discuss custom location pricing as part of their agreement.

Onboarding & Setup

How long does onboarding take?

Most accounts are operational within a few days of signup. AI training on your franchise documentation may take 1–2 business days depending on document volume. The FQB team supports your setup throughout.

Do I need technical expertise to use FQB?

No. FQB is designed for franchise operators and consultants, not technical teams. The platform is browser-based, requires no software installation, and includes guided workflows for every process.

AI & Technology

What does the AI do on FQB?

The AI on FQB is trained on your specific franchise system documentation. It assists with candidate document review, process guidance, and knowledge retrieval from your system’s materials. It does not replace your legal or compliance advisors.

Is the AI the same across all plans?

AI process support is included on all plans. Full AI training on your franchise documentation and candidate profiles is available on Grow and Scale plans.

Data & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. FQB is built on enterprise infrastructure with row-level security, encrypted data storage, and strict access controls. Each account’s data is isolated — franchisors, consultants, and franchisees cannot access each other’s records.

Where is data stored?

FQB stores data on enterprise cloud infrastructure in Canada-compatible regions. Financial pre-qualification data is processed through secure banking integrations with no direct credential sharing.
